Programme StructureThe course is structured into the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students will be assessed on both general language skills and their ability to communicate in hospitality-specific contexts.
In addition to classroom-based study, students will be able to discover more about the hospitality industry through field trips, guest industry speakers, and participation in cultural events.
Fern and NZMA students share the Anzac Avenue building so you will also be able to take advantage of the realistic training environment of NZMA's Auckland Central Academy. Facilities include modern cocktail-training bars and a fully operational café with a front-of-house training area.

Programme Duration

Entry Requirements Students must:
- Be 16 years of age or older, AND
- Hold minimum of IELTS 5 or equivalent, OR
- Achieve the required level on the Fern English Language grading exercise
