What is this Package? WWOOF (Willing Workers on Organic Farms) in New Zealand provides experiences in sustainable living from large organic farms to family gardens, organic orchards and vineyards, biodynamics, permaculture, urban organics, alternative building/energy etc. WWOOF also provides an intercultural eco-experience that promotes understanding and tolerance.
You can choose from the following English language programmes:
- General Intensive English
- English for IELTS
- Certificate in English for Hospitality
- Certificate in Business English
- Certificate in TESOL

How it Works- Complete your English language course at FERN, between 4 to12 weeks of study
- WWOOF placements are available throughout New Zealand with Hosts running a variety of organic farms, market gardens, communities and ventures in self-sufficiency
- You will live and experience life on New Zealand organic properties and learn organic farming methods by helping Hosts around the farm. You usually live with the Host family and participate in all day to day activities. As a WWOOFer you will help out on properties for 4-6 hours a day in exchange for your food and board
- The minimum time recommended for a WWOOF placement is 2 weeks and the maximum is a 6 month placement
- Summer months, October to April, are the most popular for placements, as much of the work is likely to be outdoors
- Your placement will be confirmed by us before you arrive in New Zealand

Entry Requirements- Candidates for the Study English and New Zealand WWOOF Experience require English equivalent to at least IELTS 5.0 (Your level of English can be assessed and we recommend the most appropriate English language programme for you)
- This programme is open to students who have a Working Holiday Visa
