Adventurous Fern Students Hit Woodhill Forrest
Climbing trees, clambering up hills and hurtling down flying foxes were all par for the course for Fern students and staff on a recent outing to Woodhill Forest.
Thirty students and six staff took part in a 'Tree Adventures' confidence course there on April 3 – and according to Fern activities coordinator Charlotte Cogle the trip was a roaring success.
"This was our Week 12 (exam week) activity. 'Tree Adventures' is a confidence course set up high amongst the pine trees. The activities we had to do were pretty challenging, and although some people were scared, most people really, really enjoyed it!
"In fact it proved to be such a popular outing that we intend to do it again next year," said Charlotte.
