School of Business and Hospitality Management
Students who successfully complete the full 12 week Certificate in English for Hospitality programme can pathway to study the following at the School of Business and Hospitality Management:

  • Certificate in Hospitality and Employment Skills Level 3
  • National Diploma in Hospitality Management Level 5


Students who successfully complete the full 12 week Certificate in Business English programme can pathway to study the following at the School of Business and Hospitality Management:

  • Diploma in Business Level 5
  • Diploma in Business (advanced) Level 6
Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design

This is a full year Bridging Programme. Students have classes at Whitecliffe once a week while completing their English tuition at Fern School of English for the first half of the year. Students then move to full-time studies at Whitecliffe for the second half of the year. Successful students will achieve an arts qualification and portfolio through the Certificate of Arts & Design (Foundation).

Academic Colleges Group (ACG)

Students graduating from Fern at Intermediate to Upper Intermediate level can pathway directly to the ACG foundation programme with no language entry assessment. Successful students can then study at either Auckland University or Auckland University of Technology.
