The on-site café is run by NZMA’s hospitality diploma students, and offers a selection of hot and cold drinks, meals and snacks at low prices. There are also vending machines and microwaves for students who want to bring their lunch.

Learning isn’t always in the classroom!

Here at Fern we have regular fun educational class trips that include visits to cafés, harbour boat cruises, hiking through native forest, beach trips and even opportunities to watch a live Super 14 Rugby game.

You can even reserve a place on a pre-arranged tour around New Zealand; try rafting in the Coromandel, or learn how to surf, sail or ski!
